(June 16, 2011) – This summer's most anticipated animation, music and manga event's, AM2, proudly welcomes the Flying Platforms to the Summer Festival stage and rings the school bell for a special scholastic themed “A.C. Producer/guitarist/vocalist Shin Kawasaki's live-performing outfit “Flying
Platforms” brings new life to material from his self-titled album with a weirdly alluring dance/vocal performance by the MidTone Madeleines; a duo from somewhere outside of our society and/or planet. The collaboration between the Madeleines and SK offers a mixture of cyberpunk-infused live-tronic jam and an otherworldly aesthetic.

RING! RING! For ONE NIGHT ONLY, the maids and hosts of AniMaid turn their cute café into a High School of Moe where we invite you senpai/upperclassman to join our special closing night performance for AM2 2011!

Your education includes the following curriculum:

• Science- the first 200 online registered students will explore the contents of a goody bag presented by AM2 and TokyoPop! With free anime, manga, and maid swag- you'll have homework this weekend!


• Social Studies: Getting to know your community! Each table is attended by a student of A.C. High who will be happy to show you the ropes around our beloved school on your first day!


• Lunch Period: Select a yummy hot meal from Sugoi Soba Supreme or Neko Nyan Curry (Vegi and Chicken) along with and Pocky snacks and fun Japanese Drinks. No food fights allowed!


• P.E.: Live dance performances by your classmates to get the heart pumping! Work it!


• History: “Board Games” are what your grandparents called “Fun”! We'll investigate amusements from the past like Jenga, Connect 4, Hungry Hippos, Rock'em Sock'em Robots, Don't Break the Ice, and a huge number of other authentic diversions from the past! Pay attention- there's a quiz at the end!


• Math: Calculate the probability you'll beat your underclassman 3 times in order to win a personalized photograph of you and your choice of AC High scholar. What game would most increase your chances? Remember to show your work!


• POP QUIZ: We have all KINDS of surprises and exclusive fun to be had for this one time only event! Raffles, passing notes, contests, and paper airplanes- got your #2?
