BLACK TORCH features story and artwork by Tsuyoshi Takaki and will be published in print under the Shonen Jump imprint with an MSRP of $9.99 U.S. / $12.99 CAN. The print edition of Volume 1 also includes a fold-out full-color poster. BLACK TORCH will launch digitally on August 7th via viz.com and the Viz Manga App, as well as from the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks, Comixology, and Google Play stores. Future volumes of the series will be published on a quarterly basis.

In BLACK TORCH, Jiro Azuma is descended from of a long line of ninja, and he also can talk to animals. One day, he rescues a very unique black cat named Rago, a supernatural being, and is dragged into a secret supernatural war.
