The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross Celebrates New Milestone with Massive '5.5th Anniv. Holy War Festival' Update
LOS ANGELES – JULY 24, 2025 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, launched a special milestone update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (7DS) featuring the “5.5th Anniversary Holy War Festival.” Players will experience a wealth of new content and special events.
Leading the update is the addition of the new UR hero, [Incomplete Control] Oppressor Demon King. Players can also experience this character through a special Hero Trial Story, available even without owning the hero.
Throughout the festival, players can enjoy limited-time events such as “The Ruler's Return” Festival Draw. They can secure UR/SSR heroes at certain milestones, including a guaranteed chance to obtain the new [Incomplete Control] Oppressor Demon King.
A variety of rewarding events are available such as Special Missions, the Wish Box event, and the Event Boss Parade. These events offer valuable items such as Growth Materials, hero costumes based on the six original heroes of The Seven Deadly Sins, and other upgrade resources. Players can also participate in the Event World Conquest to defeat < purinpu > and exchange event currency for additional rewards. Wish Keys and Card Packs can be obtained by facing off against the Indigenous Purgatory Creature and Baruja at the Boss Parade event during the Festival period.
The Solgres Reward Dungeon returns with Diamonds and Awakening Coin rewards. Book of Heroes Chapter 4 is now open that will give players a chance to acquire a Forgotten One-step Evolution Token, Super Awakening Coin, SSR/UR Evolution Pendant and Growth Materials over the course of a 7-day mission-based event.
Generous login bonuses are also offered, with up to 200 Diamonds available via the Check-In event. Players also have the opportunity to receive up to 550 Diamonds, Legendary Seals, and more through Essette's Lucky Event - a new lottery-style giveaway tied to daily logins.
Additional updates include Season 3 of the Hero Draft PvP event, a new Holy Relic for [Origin Fragment] Highest-ranking Demon Chandler, and the Knighthood Training Grounds.
