News Hanabee Entertainment new Acquisitions at SMASH 2012

The industry panel was held by Company President, Eric Cherry and Brand Manager, Zi Yi Xie. Eric stated that Hanabee is not purely focusing on subtitle only releases and will be releasing English dubs where possible. Eric stated "We want to give the fans the titles that they want regardless of what language it is in." Eric also said they would be looking at limited edition sets depending on demand and availability and that Hanabee would not be releasing hentai titles.
Toradora! is based on the light-novel series of the same name by Yuyuko Takemiya with illustration and character design by Yasu. The anime is produced by J.C. Staff with director, Tatsuyuki Nagai (Honey and Clover II, Waiting in the Summer), character design by Masayoshi Tanaka (Highschool of the Dead, Joshiraku) and art direction by Chikako Shibata (Chobits, Azumanga Daioh, Bakuman.). Ryūji Takasu is voiced by Junji Majima (Ayumu Aikawa in Is This a Zombie?) and Taiga Aisaka is voiced by Rie Kugimiya (Happy in Fairy Tail, Alphonse Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist).
The first volume will contain the first 13 episodes and be released on sub only DVD on the 3rd of October, 2012. for $49.95. You can find further information on the press release here.
Yumeji Fujiwara (Nobuhiko Okamoto, Eiji Niizuma in Bakuman.) has had the ability to see the multi-colored auras of other people's dreams and is able to predict what kind of dream they will have next. Since then he started to have weird dreams about a war with cats and then one day, a mysterious girl called Merry (Ayane Sakura, Marii Buratei in Joshiraku) falls on him who just happens to come from the world of dreams.
This 13 episode series adapts Yoshitaka Ushiki's manga of the same name. Shigeyasu Yamauchi (Street Fighter Alpha, Boys Over Flowers) directed the anime with scripts supervised and written by Hideki Shirane (Hayate the Combat Butler) and Masahiro Fujii (Hayate the Combat Butler) handling character design.
