Dragon Ball Z voice actor Ryusei Nakao to also appear at May 24-26 event

The organizers of the Animazement convention announced on Thursday that anime director Hiroshi Nagahama and voice actor Ryusei Nakao will appear at the May 24-26 event in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Nagahama (pictured right) directed Artland's Mushi-Shi television anime series in 2005 and the Detroit Metal City video anime in 2008. He is directing this spring's Aku no Hana (The Flowers of Evil) television anime. This will be Nagahama's second year in a row as a guest at Animazement.

Nakao (pictured below left) is a veteran voice actor known for his role as Dragon Ball Z's Freeza. His other roles include Bleach's Kurotsuchi Mayuri, Jing: King of Bandits's Kir, One Piece's Caesar Clown, the Anpanman films' Baikinman, and Touch's Isami Nishimura. Nakao also appeared at Animazement in 2011.

This year's Animazement convention is also hosting Los Angeles-based voice actor Kyle Hebert (Bleach's Sosuke Aizen, Fate/Zero's Berserker), Japanese visual kei rock band Uchu Sentai Noiz, and shamisen player Sho Asano.

Animazement will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center.
