Banjou Ginga to Replace Masahi Hirose in One Piece

Sponichi Annex reported on Friday that voice actor Banjō Ginga will replace Masashi Hirose as the role of Riku Dold III in One Piece. Ginga will appear in the 666th episode of the series, which airs this Sunday.
Hirose was hospitalized in September for an extended stay to treat an unspecified illness. Akio Ohtsuka took over his role of Sakunoshin Honjō in Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete and Katsuhisa Houki is replacing him in Gundam Build Fighters Try as Ral-san — a name reference to arguably Hirose's most famous role, the pilot Ramba Ral in the first Mobile Suit Gundam series and movie trilogy.
In other anime, Hirose played the sumo wrestler Rikishiman in the Kinnikuman franchise, Hideyoshi Ushiromiya in Umineko - When They Cry, Soichi Ayukawa in Basquash!, Professor Tange in Honey and Clover, Kan Yu in Armored Trooper Votoms, Cole in Taiyō no Kiba Dougram.
