Sentai Filmworks Announces Diabolik Lovers II Dub Cast, Streams Clip

posted on by Karen Ressler
Main cast members return, joined by Adam Gibbs, Bryson Baugus, Andrew Love, Greg Ayres, more

Sentai Filmworks announced the cast and began streaming a clip for the English dub of the Diabolik Lovers II: More, Blood (Diabolik Lovers More, Blood) sequel anime on Tuesday. The clip previews protagonist Yui Komori and the four Mukami brothers.

The main cast members for Yui and the Sakamaki brothers are returning from the first series.

Christopher Ayres is directing the dub and David Wald is writing. Additional voices include Shelley Calene-Black, Kira Vincent-Davis, Ned Gayle, Houston Hayes, Brittney Karbowski, Cynthia Martinez, Chelsea Ryan McCurdy, Carolyn Medrano, Josh Morrison, Robin Nennig, Natalie Rial, and Kris Saltiel.

Sentai Filmworks will release the series on March 28 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

The series premiered in September 2015 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.

Rejet's original Diabolik Lovers vampire drama CD and PSP game project centers around the six sadistic Sakamaki vampire brothers. Yui Komori is a positive-thinking girl who nevertheless is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. In her second year in high school, she transfers to a new school — a night school for entertainers and celebrities — due to her father's work. There are rumors that there are vampires among the student body, and Yui ends up living with the Sakamaki brothers.

The first season's assistant director Risako Yoshida replaced Shinobu Tagashira as the main director at the studio ZEXCS, and Hiroko Kanasugi (My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy) replaced Seiko Nagatsu as the series script supervisor. However, character designer Yūko Yahiro (B Gata H Kei - Yamada’s First Time, Lady Jewelpet) returned to adapt Satoi's game illustrations.

Sentai Filmworks released the first television anime season on DVD with an English dub and subtitles in December.
