We Heart Performing for Japan

Los Angeles, CA, September 7, 2011 – WE HEART JAPAN launches WE HEART PERFORMING FOR JAPAN, the third installment in its series of ongoing efforts to raise funds for disaster relief in Japan.

WE HEART PERFORMING FOR JAPAN features a slate of special appearances* sure to appeal to anime fans as well as fans of Japanese culture and entertainment. Two performances in particular will highlight the show: award-winning singer/actress Mari Iijima, known to anime fans as the voice of Lynn Minmay in MACROSS, will sing live onstage, and the stellar English cast from a classic anime series will reunite to do a live reading of an episode. In addition, some great prizes will be raffled off throughout the course of the evening.
