ANNCast Episode 046 - Yes We Kun

Justin's on vacation this week, so filling in for him is Gia Manry, and it's a sllllooooowwwww news week so we took some (admittedly silly) topics from Twitter to fill in the void. It's fun though, I promise!

Then the CEO of Crunchyroll, Kun Gao, shows up to shed a little light on what his company's been up to lately, how exactly simulcasting works, their new manga initiative (and how they're not actually licensing any manga titles themselves!), along with a fresh announcement that they're dabbling in DVD (okay, not the whole DVD distribution thing, but licensing titles for DVD release. Read the news!). Then we take even more questions from Twitter and hey, it's a good ol' time. A hoedown, you might say. With dancing.

ANNCast Episode 46 Breakdown

The segments are pretty polarized this time; the first segment is mostly goofing around with silly Twitter topics. If you want to skip straight to the interview, go to 28:32.

And that's it! See you next week!
