So it's Saturday afternoon and it suddenly dawns on me that there's no way in hell I'll have enough time between Monday and Tuesday to set up, record, edit and produce a podcast episode before I have to leave for San Diego Comic-con on Wednesday morning.

...or is there??

The call went out on Twitter and the episode was full before an hour had passed. That's how great you guys are! So this week we have a 2-hour callout show!

WARNING: The entire first 30 minutes of this episode are about Harry Potter, which is off-topic, as promised in the opening bit. We discuss in full the final film and how it compares to the end of the book, so if you're trying to avoid spoilers, don't listen. Also I guess if you don't care about Harry Potter at all, skip to the 29-minute mark. All of you other mudbloods can enjoy!

Then we talk to Steph about Canadian anime conventions, Christian about Makoto Shinkai, Nick about Fullmetal Alchemist, Ted chimes in on the crazy prices of out-of-print DVDs, and Brian talks about why people still complain about anime being too pricey. It's fun! I PROMISE!!
