Shout! Studios announced on Monday that it has appointed Thomas Breckenridge to the new role of Director of Product Development and Marketing (Anime Content).

In this role, Breckenridge will guide the acquisition, product development, and marketing strategies for licensing anime for home video. Breckenridge will report to Vice President Melissa Boag, and will work closely with senior members of the Business Affairs and Acquisitions teams.

Breckenridge previously served as Merchandising Manager at Right Stuf. There, he had worked with vendors such as Shout! Studios. After Crunchyroll acquired Right Stuf in August 2022 to expand its eCommerce service, Breckenridge became Director of Merchandising.

Shout! Studios launched in 2003 as a multiplatform media company specializing in film and TV distribution, development, and production. The company manages the Shout! Kids label, the Scream Factory imprint, and the Shout! TV service. It has released anime on home video, such as Digimon Adventure tri., Millennium Actress, and A Silent Voice. In partnership with GKIDS, the company has also released their licensed anime films, including Promare, BELLE, and Studio Ghibli titles. The company changed its name from Shout! Factory to Shout! Studios in July 2023.

The company appointed Max Einhorn as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Innovations in September 2024. As part of the company's acquisitions team, Einhorn focuses on content acquisition strategy and expansion.
