posted on by Ken Iikura-Gross
Toei Animation announced on Wednesday that ticketholders for the Los Angeles Dodgers One Piece Night will receive a limited-edition card from the One Piece Card Game. The card features a “one-of-a-kind character art drawn by creator Eiichiro Oda to celebrate this special occasion.” The card is first-come first-served and limited to one per person while supplies last.

The latest One Piece Night is set for the July 3 game against the Chicago White Sox at Dodger Stadium. (July 3 is also the first full day of Anime Expo this year at the nearby Los Angeles Convention Center.) The MLB notes the event will “include a variety of One Piece activations in and around the stadium, [and] the Dodgers will give away One Piece co-branded straw hats to the first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance, while supplies last, at the guest's point of entry.” The game will end with a drone show featuring fan-favorite characters from One Piece.

Lon Rosen, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Los Angeles Dodgers, commented, “This exciting partnership between the Dodgers and Toei Animation will bring a fun-filled event to Dodger Stadium.” Rosen added, “It's great to showcase ONE PIECE, one of the most popular franchises in the world, to the best fan base in the world.”
Lisa Yamatoya, Senior Director, Head of Marketing at Toei Animation Inc. also commented, “We're thrilled to partner with the Los Angeles Dodgers to bring the global hit series ONE PIECE to Dodger Stadium on July 3 for a very special one-day promotion. We invite fans to join us for ONE PIECE Night, which will offer a truly memorable, one-of-a-kind entertainment experience, complete with a not-to-be-missed ONE PIECE drone show after the game!”
One Piece has also collaborated with several sports teams in 2025 including the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team in February, the German football club Borussia Dortmund in March, the Seattle Mariners baseball team in April, and Boston Red Sox baseball team in May.
