posted on by Ken Iikura-Gross
The Dragon Ball franchise announced on June 19 that it has partnered with Hong Kong-based phone case and electronics accessories company CASETiFY for a new series of Dragon Ball smartphone cases and AirPods Max Scouter covers. The collaboration marks Dragon Ball's 40th anniversary with four phone case styles and a AirPods Max Scouter cover as an online exclusive.

The phone cases feature six different characters (Son Goku, Son Gohan, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, Fat Majin Buu, Gotenks) in the first style of smartphone cases; lenticular "3D" art of the iconic Goku Gohan Kamehameha seen at the end of the Cell Saga for the second style, the complete combined illustration from all the original manga volumes' spines for the third style in a limited edition set, and the Shenron dragon with customizable text in the fourth style. The AirPods Max Scouter covers come in green and red lenses.

The smartphone cases and AirPods Max Scouter covers go on sale on June 24 at 5:00 p.m. Japan Time (4:00 a.m. EDT) through the CASETiFY online store. The cases will cost 6,050 yen and the AirPods Max covers 5,280 yen (about US$41 and US$36, respectively).
