Happy Sports Day From Around the Anime World, Part I

October 13 marks Sports Day in Japan. Originally known as Physical Education Day, the holiday was created to celebrate the opening of the 1964 Tokyo Summer Olympics. Today, people around Japan celebrate with sports activities and festivals. The anime and manga worlds are also engaging in their favorite sports.

Personally, I like sports, but I prefer calling it "Physical Education Day" to "Sports Day," as it promotes physical development.
