Anime: A History Competition Winners Announced!
Many thanks to all of you who entered the competition to win a copy of Anime: A History by Jonathan Clements. We asked, 'What year was the first Astro Boy anime series first broadcast in Japan?' The answer, of course, was 1963.
(Though we acknowledge those people who put '1959,' which was the year of the first Astro Boy TV series. However, the 1959 version was a live-action series, and our question did specify 'anime series.')
