Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack Heads West; Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion Game Gets PS5 Version, Delay

XSEED Games also revealed that MAGES. is delaying the global release of Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion, MAGES. and Team GrisGris' sequel to the Corpse Party horror game, for Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam from 2025 to 2026 to further improve the game's quality. In addition, the game is now getting a version for PlayStation 5. The game was originally delayed from fall 2024 to 2025.
MAGES. unveiled the game's theme song artists. FRAM will perform the opening theme song "Kodoku no Solitude" (Nirvana of Solitude). Asaka will perform one of the ending theme songs "Hakanai Rensa" (Ephemeral Chain), and Asami Imai will perform another ending "Hikari no Ryо̄te" (Hands of Light).
The Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack collection launched in Japan on August 7.
The collection includes the Corpse Party, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash, and Corpse Party: Blood Drive games. XSEED Games will reveal additional details for the digital availability of Corpse Party: Book of Shadows and Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash at a later date.
The limited edition in Japan includes a Blu-ray Disc for Corpse Party: Tortured Souls -Bōgyaku Sareta Tamashii no Jukyō-, the original video anime series inspired by the games.

The romantic spinoff game Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash (Corpse Party -THE ANTHOLOGY- Sachiko no Renai Yūgi ♥ Hysteric Birthday 2U) debuted for the PlayStation Portable in Japan in August 2012. XSeed Games released the game for PC via Steam in April 2019.
GrindHouse Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient sequel game debuted in 2013 for the PC. The game was intended to be released episodically, with the story serialized in game episodes over time. However, GrindHouse only released the game's first episode. The game has also inspired a drama CD. Team GrisGris released a reboot version of the game for PC in 2017.
