In the first episode, the cat rescued by Sifr at the hotel bears the same namesake and likeness of Nina (Wong), a main character of Mai-Otome, and character in Mai-Otome Zwei.

"Sifr" is the arabic word for number Zero. It is also the name of the main character Sifr Fran.
