In the first volume, Hamtaro and Laura move into their neighborhood and happily get used to their surroundings by both making new friends. One day after school, Hamtaro learns that Laura’s new friends have pet hamsters of their own. He’ll see them all soon at the new Ham-Ham Clubhouse! Unfortunately, when all the new Ham-Hams meet, there is some unexpected personality clashing!
