I love doujins, and by extension Irodori's releases, because of the specificity of the material they provide which you won't see in more mainstream output. I completely understand the crowd crying out for Omegaverse yuri between two big, tough, buff women, and now here that is courtesy of creator gram. Loading up the cover alone was enough to prompt an "Oh dear lord!" as I thanked the hentai gods for the bounty I was about to receive. What a time to be alive.

Of course, being a couple-dozen page piece of highly specific fetishized material means there isn't a ton I could say in a review of Out of Control—but if I've been given the auspicious opportunity to write about such a work as this, I might as well try. Seriously, look at it! Shino and Glow could break me in half over their knee, and this little illicit interstitial sees them getting up to horny-stressed hot-and-heavy makeout sessions and medically advisable battlefield blowjobs. The dynamic is rich, is what I'm saying, as aspects like Shino's capture and drugging leading to her needing to be handled by Glow speaks to both of their personalities, and constructs a feeling for their world and interactions in it despite the short pagecount. gram has fun with the finer details too, including a moment where Glow removes her collar specifically so she has room to more deeply swallow Shino. But it's also very cute in moments, with Glow giving headpats to Shino being arguably the most perverse part of the book.

I honestly appreciate Omegaverse stories that find ways to play with parts of their world in service of the horniness factor—better works have had me Get It plenty of times over. I don't know that Out of Control goes too deep into that, and it's certainly not going to do anything for you if you're not into this author's Extremely Specific Fetish. Still, it's enjoyable to see them playing with their OCs, stuffing the book "with dreams and fetishes" as they put it. And it certainly puts gram on my radar for anything else they've put out.

I've officially read my first omega verse yuri manga! I have to say, I wish there were more. With only twenty pages, there is only so much that you can communicate in Out of Control. In a world where we have incredibly busty and muscular women landing in the alpha and omega categories, I was expecting at least incredibly solid and aggressive sexual action. What I got was a blowjob and a cliffhanger ending promising more sex that I know is never going to come.

I'm serious, there's barely anything here. We have a setup where our two leads, who I think are dating, are on a mission where one gets captured and injected with a drug that forces her to go into heat. The other soldier gives her a blow job, gets her out of there, and that's it.

I dig the art style. There aren't enough stories out there that show off particularly busty and muscular women. But there's just not enough real estate here to expand on anything. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the real estate that IS used barely feels like anything. I would've at least appreciated an incredibly solid sex scene, but we don't even have that. Maybe some of the other works offer a lot more.
