CLAMP, Sakura Tange Offer Sakura Quake Fund Art/Video

The manga creative team CLAMP offered an illustration to support an online fundraiser for the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster on Wednesday. The illustration features Sakura Kinomoto, the heroine of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura manga and anime.
This illustration will be used as a wallpaper to raise money for an emergency disaster fund. Clamp's official website will provide the URL address for the fund on April 6, although the scheduled date may change.
In addition, CLAMP created the above video with the illustration and the help of Sakura Tange, the voice actress of the character Sakura. Tange made a new audio recording for the dialogue at the end of the video.
The music label Flying Dog agreed to allow the use of the anime's opening theme song "Platinum," as originally sung by Maaya Sakamoto. Ichirō Mihara, the vice-president of the game company Arika, helped upload the video, just as he did for a previous music video from CLAMP.
