Japanese Theme Park Is Taking Final Fantasy's Bahamut to the Disco
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
One of the Final Fantasy series' most iconic summons is letting its hair down at an upcoming virtual reality dance party event in Japan. Square Enix is teaming up with the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki for the "Bahamut Disco" attraction in July. Partygoers won't have to wear a VR head mount to enjoy the event. Instead they'll dance the night away in "450-degree" video space that requires them to move along to the music and lights to get the "Body Sensation Music Attraction" in full swing.
Square Enix guarantees that the event is child friendly and the usually intimidating dragon will appear in an role-playing world created for the event's virtual reality space. Four players can enter the attraction at a time. Details are otherwise scarce for now.
