Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 4 Unveils Theme Song Artists, July 4 Debut

The staff for the anime of Reiji Miyajima's Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) manga unveiled the theme songs' artists, the July 4 premiere, and fourth "date" visual of Sumi Sakurasawa for the anime's fourth season on Friday.
ClariS, the female singing duo that became a trio this year, is performing the opening theme song. ClariS is contributing the new song "Umitsuki" as the first new anime tie-in song of the revamped three-member lineup. It is also the first time the unit wrote the lyrics of a song with three members. The members said they enjoyed the manga and anime so far countless times and believe that they captured the feelings of Kazuya in this song.
The band Regal Lily performs the ending theme song "Boku no Vega" (My Vega).
The fourth season will premiere on July 4 at 26:23 (effectively, July 5 at 2:23 a.m.) in the "Animeism" programming block on the MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS channels.
The anime's returning cast members include:
- Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita
- Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara
- Aoi Yūki as Mami Nanami
- Nao Tōyama as Ruka Sarashina
- Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa
- Yū Serizawa as Mini Yaemori
The staff at TMS Entertainment is returning from the third season. However, Kazuomi Koga, the director of the first two seasons, is replacing the third season's director Shin'ya Une in the fourth season.
The new season will cover the Hawaiians arc.
The anime's third season premiered in July 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the season worldwide except in Asia.

The first anime season premiered on the Animeism programming block in July 2020 and aired for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide except in Asia.

Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old failure of a college student. He managed to kiss his girlfriend once, but was dumped after a month. "Ugh... Damn it. I never want to go through that again." Miyajima launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in July 2017. Kodansha USA Publishing is publishing the manga in English.
The manga also inspired a live-action series that premiered in July 2022.
