Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans' Yuka Terasaki Announces Birth of Baby Boy

Voice actress Yuka Terasaki announced on her blog on Friday that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 3078 gram (6.8lbs). The blog's update came on a special date: August 4 is also Terasaki's own birthday.
The 34-year-old voice actress asked her fans to wait for her as she will definitely return to work some day. She has since been discharged from the hospital and is getting accustomed to her new life as a family of three. She wrote that she has a lot of uncertainties when it comes to parenting, but she's found her life to be bombarded with laughter and excitement. She thanked everyone for their continued concern and support.
Terasaki may be best known as voicing Kudelia Aina Bernstein in the recently concluded Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans anime series. She also voiced Heinz Nerich Windermere in Macross Delta, Zushi in Hunter x Hunter, and Tenma Matsukaze in the Inazuma Eleven franchise.
Terasaki announced her pregnancy and marriage last year.
