The Prinnies are turning 15, dood! Nippon Ichi Software's Disgaea video game franchise is 15 years old and what better way to celebrate than creating a new anime short to mark the occasion? NIS teamed up with the Nagoya Communication Art Senmon School for the minute and a half long video honoring the series' cast of characters.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, the first game in the Disagaea franchise, debuted on the PlayStation 2 in Japan on on January 30, 2003. The most recent title is Disgaea 5 and NIS released that game in Japan in March 2015, and in North America in October 2015. The game has since been ported to the Nintendo Switch as Disgaea 5 Complete followed by a PC release this week. NIS America released the Disgaea franchise games in North America and Europe.
