Neon Genesis Evangelion movie details - corrected.

On VHS and DVD but no 5.1
One of our readers wrote Manga asking for details about the US release for the Neon Genesis Evangelion movie, "Death & Rebirth" and "The End of Evangelion", and this is what Manga had to say:
We will have both "Death & Rebirth" and "The End of Evangelion" on DVD and VHS. Extras haven't been determined, but we will have access to everything that's on the Japanese DVDs. I know Anno does not believe in 5.1 surround sound, so no 5.1 mix was included on the Japanese DVD.
Another reader wrote in to inform us that the films will also probably be released in anamorphic format.
