Tecmo Koei Open to Making Hypothetical 'Atelier Warriors'

Tecmo KOEI executive vice president Hisashi Koinuma told the Siliconera website with a laugh that the company would "probably consider" a Dynasty Warriors-style game with characters from Gust's Atelier franchise. Koinuma was responding to a tongue-in-cheek question about a hypothetical "Atelier Warriors," and Koinuma noted that "a lot of Japanese fans have been talking about the same thing."

Tecmo KOEI's Warriors Orochi 3 combines characters from the Samurai Warriors, Ninja Gaiden, and Dynasty Warriors franchises. Tecmo KOEI is currently developing Samurai Warriors 4. Dynasty Warriors 8 will be released in North America on July 16.
