Imaishi and Trigger's battle action anime Kill la Kill on Wednesday. The trailer is the same as the one that debuted without subtitles in Japan last week.

The official Facebook page for the English release also posted several design and animation sketches by Kill la Kill's character designer, Sushio, and two videos of his animation sketches being completed.

Aniplex of America previously revealed in August that it has licensed the series for release on home video, and the company will stream the series on the Aniplex Channel, Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Hulu hours after it airs in Japan.

Hiroyuki Imaishi and Trigger's battle action anime Kill la Kill will premiere on Japan's MBS television station on October 3. The story is set in Honnōji Academy, a high school where the student council president Satsuki Kiryūin (voiced by Ryōka Yuzuki) rules by force. Wielding a giant Basami scissors sword, the wandering transfer student Ryūko Matoi (Ami Koshimizu) brings about upheaval on the campus. Ryūko searches for the mysterious figure who caused her father's death.

Standing in her way are the "Elite Four" on campus: Disciplinary committee chair Ira Gamagōri (Tetsu Inada), Athletic committee chair Uzu Sanageyama (Nobuyuki Hiyama), Information and Strategy committee chair Hōka Inumuta (Hiroyuki Yoshino), and Non-Athletic committee chair Nonon Jakuzure (Mayumi Shintani). Additional cast members include Shinichirō Miki as the mysterious homeroom teacher Aikurō Mikisugi, Aya Suzaki as second-year student Mako Mankanshoku, Ryūko's best (and only) friend, Toshihiko Seki as the talking sailor uniform Senketsu, Ayumi Fujimura as Mako's little brother, Yukari Fukui as Mako's mom, and Kenyuu Horiuchi as Mako's dad.
