PS3/Xbox 360/PC action game launches in N. America on March 18, in Japan on March 6

The official YouTube page for the movie Nuigulumar Z began streaming a video announcing a new collaboration with the game Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z on Sunday. Players can dress up the ninja Yaiba in the same costume as the heroine Nuigulumar from the Nuigulumar Z film. The Nuigulumar Z costume is unconfirmed for the western edition of the game.

Nuigulumar Z is a tokusatsu (special-effects) comedy that stars Nakagawa as Yumeko Aikawa a.k.a. "Dame-ko" (no-good-girl), a girl in lolita fashion who transforms into Nuigulumar when she combines with a pink teddy bear (nuigurumi no kuma). She fights with the villian Takeshi, who plans to take over the world using zombies.

The film premiered on Saturday.

Comcept and Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive series) are collaborating with Spark Unlimited on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. The game will star a new ninja named Yaiba, who is chasing after Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden video game. Hayabusa had killed Yaiba, but then Yaiba was brought back to life with cyber-technology as a cyborg ninja. He uses both a ninja sword and mecha weapons in his cyborg arm.

The game will ship in Japan on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Steam on March 6. The game will then launch in North America on March 18. Italy, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Australia will receive the game on March 21. France will receive the game one day earlier.
