The fall issue of Shogakukan's Zōkan Flowers magazine published the last chapter of Keiko Nishi's Otō-san, Chibi ga Inakunarimashita (Father, Chibi is Gone) manga on Tuesday. Nishi launched the manga in the Zōkan Flowers magazine's winter 2013 issue in November 2013. Shogakukan will publish the one compiled volume on September 10.
The issue also noted that Nishi will start a new series in the winter issue on November 14.
The story of Otō-san, Chibi ga Inakunarimashita is set in an isolated house in Tokyo. After all the kids left, the only people living in the house are an old couple: a blunt and unsociable husband, and a gossipy wife, with only their cat Chibi for company. The manga depicts the quiet life of the elderly couple.
The seventh volume of Nishi's Koi to Gunkan (Love and Warship) manga previously announced in March that the manga's eighth compiled book volume will be its last.
JManga published two volumes of Nishi's four-volume series Kyudo Boys, about the romantic relationships of a group of high school boys, digitally in English before the the site ended service.
Nishi's Otoko no Isshō (A Man's Lifetime) manga received a live-action film adaptation that opened in February.
