Ghost in the Shell First Assault Online Shooter Game's English Gameplay Trailer Streamed

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Nexon currently accepting applications for closed beta

The official website for Nexon's Ghost in the Shell First Assault: Stand Alone Complex Online first-person shooter game began streaming an English trailer for the game on Tuesday. The game's original name was Ghost in the Shell: First Connection Online.

A longer trailer has also been posted online.

Nexon is accepting applications now for a closed beta. The company has also posted a list of countries and regions where the game will be available.

Players will be able to choose from multiple attributes: Speed, which increases a character's overall agility; Power, which gives the players weapons such as arm rockets; Stealth, which allows players to become invisible; Detect, which lets players see incoming enemies or use recon robots, and Support, which allows players to build turrets. Skill Share also combines team strength and helps with assists.

Nexon announced in 2012 that the company had signed an agreement with Japanese publisher Kodansha to develop and release a PC online game based on the anime titles Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society. Nexon expected to launch the "Hacking FPS" game in early 2014. Nexon has not announced a new release date yet for the game, but it will release the game in North America before its global release.
