Taiwanese Artist Antenna Wins KYOMAF 2015 Manga Award

The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KYOMAF) awarded its Manga Award last month to Taiwanese artist Antenna Gyugyo for the artist's manga "BlueRoseAge." Antenna Gyugyo won the award unanimously.
KYOMAF was held in collaboration with Taiwanese comic book fair Comic Exhibition. KYOMAF's Manga Award showcases the works of aspiring artists in the region. Thirty artists submitted 40 manga for the awards, and were selected between August 1-23.
The other five finalists' manga include "Maō Yoko Ōji" by nyaroro, "Jigoku e Yōkoso" by Makxma, "Jigoku kara no Denwa" by RIMUI, "Uchū Kyūen" by Yūsa Goyo, and "Snow Ghost" by Naisei Hayashi.
Antenna Gyugyo will draw the promotional illustration for next year's KYOMAF.
