Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Monday that it has licensed Maya Azu's Romantic Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms (Sangoku Rensenki ~Otome no Heihō!~) manga. M&C! will ship the manga's first volume on November 11.

The manga is based on Japanese game developer Daisy2's Sangoku Rensenki ~Otome no Heihō!~ (Three Kingdoms Love Chronicles ~A Maiden's Strategy!~) visual novel. The manga centers on Hana Yamada, who is transported through time into China's Three Kingdoms period as she is reading a book about the subject. Now she must study tactics and strategy to bring about peace in the land.

Azu launched the manga in Mag Garden's Comic Avarus magazine in 2011, and ended it in 2014. Mag Garden published the manga's fifth and final compiled book volume in May 2014. Azu launched a sequel manga titled Sangoku Rensenki ~Kagochū no Tori~ (Three Kingdoms Love Chronicles ~Bird in a Cage~) in Comic Avarus in 2014. Mag Garden published the manga's first volume on March 14.

Daisy2 released the game in March 2010. The company later released the game on the PlayStation 2 in 2011, and on the PlayStation Portable in 2012, before releasing a remastered edition on the PC in November 2012. Daisy2 then released the game on the PS Vita and on Android devices in 2013.
