Final Fantasy XV Offered With Bonus Side-Scrolling Prequel Game

Square Enix revealed during its "Square Enix Presents" livestream during E3 on Tuesday that it will release A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV, a side-scrolling game that will serve as a prequel to the main Final Fantasy XV game. The company will offer the prequel as a bonus with the main game's September 30 release.
The bonus game will center on a young King Regis, the father of Final Fantasy XV's main character Noctis, and will be a story told by Regis to Noctis about what happened 30 years before the game. It will feature characters from the main game, as well as new characters, and players will be able to use a variety of magic, including Warp Strike, which also features in Final Fantasy XV.
The game will only be available as a pre-order bonus for select retailers, including GameStop and EB Games in North America.
