Aniplus HD's Berserk Trailer Reveals Simulcast Details

Southeast Asian channel Aniplus HD began streaming an English-subtitled trailer for its simulcast of the new Berserk television anime on Thursday. The video reveals that the channel will premiere the anime on Friday, July 1 at 9:00 p.m. in Jakarta and Bangkok, and 10:00 p.m. in Singapore.
The series will have encore airings on Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. in Jakarta and Bangkok, and 11:00 p.m. in Singapore; Sundays at 11:00 p.m. in Jakarta and Bangkok, and 12:00 a.m. in Singapore; and Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. in Jakarta and Bangkok, and 11:30 p.m. in Singapore.
The series will premiere in Japan on WOWOW on Friday, July 1 at 10:30 p.m. The anime will also air on MBS, TBS, and CBC starting on July 8, and on BS-TBS starting on July 9.

The anime adapts Kentarou Miura's dark fantasy manga of the same name. Miura himself is serving as executive supervisor for the series. Shin Itagaki (Basquash!, Ben-To, Teekyū) is directing the anime. Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass, Ōsama-tachi no Viking, Yuruyuri San Hai!) is supervising the series scripts in collaboration with Takashi Yamashita (Cencoroll). Hisashi Abe (Pet Shop of Horrors, Gunslinger Girl, Chobits) is designing the characters. Shiro Sagisu (Berserk films, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Megazone 23) is composing the music. Liden Films is credited for production, while Gemba and Millepensee are credited for animation production.
Susumu HIrasawa is composing an insert song title "Hai yo" (Oh Ashes). 9mm Parabellum Bullet will perform the opening theme song "Inferno," and Nagi Yanagi will perform the anime's ending theme song "Meimoku no Kanata" (Beyond Closed Eyes).
