Akindo Sei Little Peso Smartphone Game Gets TV Anime

The SoWhat game development company announced on Thursday that its upcoming Akindo Sei Little Peso smartphone game will get a television anime adaptation. The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on April 3 at 9:55 p.m., and will also stream online. Each episode will be five minutes long. The anime's official website is streaming a promotional video for the anime.

The voice actors for the characters Bakkania and Haidao (left and right respectively in picture above) have not yet been announced.
The story begins on the planet of Akindo, the planet that is the best in the universe at earning money. Prince Peso, the planet's ruler, lives a bum's life of playing smartphone games every day, always concentrated on paying micro-transactions. One day, the king demands that all the money in the universe be brought to him, and Peso and his lackeys are cast out. Now, Peso travels the universe, meeting aliens and fighting them in business battles.
Ryōsuke Aoike (Kami Usagi Rope) is directing and writing the anime at Fanworks and Fever Creations. SoWhat, Inc. is credited for the original concepts and character designs. Imagineer is credited as the producer.
The game itself is slated for iOS and Android devices this spring, and will be playable through the LINE messaging app.
