Hey! Pikmin 3DS Game's Song Promo Video, TV Ad Streamed

Nintendo began streaming a full version of the song promotional video for its upcoming Hey! Pikmin game for Nintendo 3DS on Wednesday. The company also began streaming a television commercial for the game last week.
In the side-scrolling adventure game, players will use the 3DS's touch screen to interact with Pikmin, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies. The game will ship on July 13 in Japan, and July 28 in North America and Europe.
The Pikmin series of strategy games allows players to control creatures called Pikmin in an effort to explore an unknown planet and survive against predatory adversaries, using the special properties of each kind of Pikmin to navigate the game environment.
Nintendo released the first game in the series on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2001. Nintendo released the latest game in the series, Pikmin 3, on the Wii U in 2013. Pikmin 4 is currently being developed by Nintendo and Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned in 2015 that Pikmin 4 was "very close to completion."
