Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Game Gets Nintendo Switch Port on May 4

Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct Mini presentation on Thursday that it will release its Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze game for Nintendo Switch on May 4.
The game's port adds Funky Kong as a playable character. Funky Kong can double jump, hover, perform infinite rolls and infinite underwater corkscrews, and use his surfboard to protect himself from spikes. He joins the game's four original playable characters: Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, and Cranky Kong.
The Japanese Nintendo Direct Mini presentation revealed that the game will launch in Japan on May 3 for 5,980 yen (about US$54).
Nintendo originally shipped Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Wii U in North America, Europe, and Japan on in February 2014. Retro Studios developed the game.
