Manga about unpopular student hiding murderous intent launches March 8

This year's 12th issue of Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine revealed on February 15 that Norio Sakurai will launch a new manga titled Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Bad Part of My Heart) in the magazine's 15th issue on March 8.

The magazine describes the manga as a "fearsome psycho-thriller" centering on "the dark side of adolescence." The manga centers on Kyōtarō Ichikawa, a person at the very bottom caste of his school, and who hides murderous impulse that lurks at the very bottom of his soul.

The manga will run alongside Sakurai's Rororro! manga, which runs in the same magazine. The comedy manga launched as a short series in September 2016 and ran for five chapters. Sakurai resumed the manga last October.

Sakurai began her Mitsudomoe manga in Weekly Shōnen Champion in 2006, moved it to Bessatsu Shōnen Champion in 2012, and ended the series last August. The manga inspired two television anime seasons, and Crunchyroll has streamed both seasons.
