Mitsudomoe Manga Gets TV Anime Green-Lit (Updated)

Norio Sakurai's gag manga about 6th-grade triplets in Weekly Shōnen Champion

2010's first issue of Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine is announcing this Thursday that a television anime adaptation of Norio Sakurai's Mitsudomoe gag manga has been green-lit. The story centers around the comedic misadventures of the Marui triplets of sisters in sixth grade.

Sakurai has been serializing the Mitsudomoe manga in Weekly Shōnen Champion since 2006, and the eighth compiled book volume will ship on December 8. More details and color images from the anime adaptation will be published in the next two issues of the magazine. The name servers for the planned site are located in the domain, which is owned by Sony Music Entertainment.
