Kill Blue Creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki to Appear at Anime Expo 2026

Cram for the Panel with a Brand-New Three-Minute Trailer Recapping the Series

LOS ANGELES, May 29, 2026DMM today announced that KILL BLUE original creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki will appear at Anime Expo 2026 for a panel and official autograph session, alongside the release of a new recap trailer covering the anime's first seven episodes.

The panel will take place Friday, July 3, at noon PT in the Platinum Ballroom at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live, where attendees will witness a rare live illustration demo from Fujimaki, attending in person. Joining him on stage will be Weekly Shonen Jump editor Harumi Sugiura and Noboru Yamada, chief producer of DMM.com, for a wide-ranging conversation on the franchise, its characters, and what's ahead for the series. Fujimaki will also take part in an official AX autograph session, and additional details on how fans of KILL BLUE, Kuroko's Basketball, and ROBOT×LASERBEAM can secure a spot will be announced soon.

Airing every Saturday across seven streaming platforms, KILL BLUE follows Juzo Ogami, a legendary assassin transformed into a middle schooler after being stung by a mysterious wasp. Set to opening theme "ATTITUDE" by aespa and ending theme "KILL SHOT" by RIIZE, the new recap trailer covers the story so far: Juzo's wide-eyed first day of class, his reluctant recruitment into the home economics club by no-nonsense club president Chisato Shiraishi, and his entanglement with classmate Noren Mitsuoka, heiress to Mitsuoka Pharmaceuticals, the company that may hold the key to reversing his condition. Standing between Juzo and a quiet school life is a rotating lineup of rival assassins gunning for Noren's hand: the pacifier-sucking oddball Shin Kohazame, the sneering Tenma Tendo, and top-ranked brothers Kazuma and Eiji Rindou.

SERIES SYNOPSIS

A legendary assassin at 39. Starting over… as a middle schooler.

Juzo Ogami is a legendary hitman who has never failed an assignment, no matter how impossible. One day, after wiping out a powerful organization, he is stung by a mysterious wasp and collapses. When he wakes up, the fearsome 39-year-old assassin has been transformed into a 13-year-old boy! Before he can even process what happened, his boss delivers a new order: “In that body, infiltrate a middle school.” What awaits him is an unexpected school life filled with colorful classmates, youthful chaos, and looming danger. Can Juzo ever return to his original form? Or will the assassins closing in on him end his second life before it even begins?
