posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The official website for the television anime of Tadataka Kawasaki's Chio's School Road (Chio-chan no Tsūgakuro) manga revealed four more cast members and the titles of the opening and ending theme songs for the anime on Tuesday.

The new cast members include:

(Note: Character name romanization is not official.)

Naomi Ōzora, Chiaki Omigawa, and Kaede Hondo will perform the anime's opening theme song "Danger in my Tsūgakuro" (Danger in My School Commute) as their respective characters. Ōzora and Omigawa are performing the ending theme "Nana Iroad" (Rainbow Coloroad) song as their respective characters. The CD singles for both songs are slated for July 25.

The previously revealed cast includes:

Naomi Ōzora as Chio Miyamo, a first-year high school student at Samejima Academy. She is a hardcore PC gamer who loves overseas games and despises Japanese games.

Chiaki Omigawa as Manana Nonomura, Chio's childhood friend who is also a first-year student at Samejima Academy.

Kaede Hondo as Yuki Hosokawa, Chio's cute, bright, pleasant, popular classmate who ranks #1 in the school clique system.

Yō Taichi as Madoka Kushitori, a third-year Samejima Academy student and the captain of the Kabaddi team. She loves the sport of Kabaddi and has large breasts.

Rikiya Koyama as Mayuta Andō, a feared neighborhood delinquent and member of a biker gang. After he meets Chio, his life is completely changed.

Hiroki Takahashi as Gotō-sensei, an educational guidance teacher at Samejima Academy. He stands at the school gate every morning and strictly disciplines the students.

Minori Suzuki as Momo Shinozuka, a second-year student at Samejima Academy and a public morals committee member. She helps Gotō-sensei with his educational guidance every morning.

The show will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 6 at 10:00 p.m., before airing later that evening on Gifu Broadcasting, Mie TV, and Sun TV. The show will later air on KBS Kyoto and BS11. The show will stream in Japan on Docomo's d Anime Store and AbemaTV services.

Takayuki Inagaki (Rosario + Vampire, First Love Monster) is directing the anime at diomedéa and supervising the series scripts. Mayuko Matsumoto (Kan Colle, Gingitsune, Handa-kun) is designing the characters.

Naomi Ōzora, Chiaki Omigawa, and Kaede Hondo will perform the anime's opening theme song as their respective characters. Ōzora and Omigawa are performing the ending theme song as their respective characters.

The "dramatic extreme going to school comedy" manga follows the titular female high school student Chio Miyamo, and her adventures to commute to school every day. Chio runs into problems both big and small, such as construction, a biker gang, a sudden urge to use the bathroom, and more.

Kawasaki launched the manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in 2014, and Kadokawa published the manga's eighth compiled volume on March 23. The manga won the "Flapper Award" at the ninth "MF Comics Awards." Yen Press has licensed the manga.
