Adult Swim's Toonami block announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego on Saturday that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will air on the block starting on September 29.
The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations television anime series premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo in April 2017. Viz Media is simulcasting the series on Hulu as it airs in Japan, with new episodes every Wednesday. Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime.
The anime switched timeslots in April from Wednesdays at 5:55 p.m. to Thursdays at 7:25 p.m., and is currently airing an arc that adapts the Boruto: Naruto the Movie film. The Bird Bear Hare and Fish group are performing the new ending theme song "Raika" for the series. The song premiered in the show on July 5.
