Mamoru Miyano Reveals Zombieland Saga Original Anime's Main Cast in Video

The official website for Cygames' original television anime Zombie Land Saga revealed the show's main cast and October debut on Friday in a video. In the video, voice actor Mamoru Miyano reveals that he is voicing the character Kōtarō Tatsumi, before revealing six other cast members.
The anime stars:
- Mamoru Miyano as Kōtarō Tatsumi
- Kaede Hondo as Sakura Minamoto
- Asami Tano as Saki Nikaidō
- Risa Taneda as Ai Mizuno
- Maki Kawase as Junko Konno
- Rika Kinugawa as Yūgiri
- Minami Tanaka as Lily Hoshikawa
The video also teases a character names Tae Yamada. Miyano adds that he and the six voice actresses have already started recording for the show, and states that a new promotional video and visual will debut on September 7. Miyano will be in two more similar videos the will debut on the show's Twitter account in the future.
MAPPA and Avex Pictures are working with Cygames to produce the anime. Cygames describes the anime as a "refreshing new twist" on the zombie genre.
