Elex Media Licenses Baseball Star Metman, Love Bento Club! Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Friday that it has licensed Shintarō Mugiwara's Baseball Star Metman (Yakyū no Hoshi Metman) and Mako Umita and Yuhmi Yamada's Love Bento Club! (Seiwa Gakuen Bentō-bu!) manga.

Elex Media describes Baseball Star Metman:

Sora is a teenager who has bet his life on comics. One day, he met a magical helmet named Koro, and he began playing baseball because of it?!

Sora has always been lonely, but his new life leads him to meet new people and make new friends. But unexpectedly, his new friend was...?!

Mugiwara launched the manga in Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine in 2015. Shogakukan published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on April 27, and will release the seventh volume on September 27.

Elex Media describes Love Bento Club!:

Sayoko is an adopted member of the impoverished Mikami family. Every morning is a battlefield for the entire family. The entire family possesses a large appetite, and Sayoko is no exception: in fact, she has the biggest one of them all! Despite this, she is always left hungry as her siblings get to the food first, leaving her hungry for the rest of the day.

One day, the fragrant aroma of good cuisine brought her to her school's famous "bento club."

Sayoko makes an effort to join the club, tempted by the idea of eating a lot of delicious food. Moreover, the club's members are all handsome boys from prestigious families!

Kadokawa released the manga's one compiled book volume in 2010.
