The staff of the Tokyo Anime Award Festival (TAAF) event announced the winners of this year's Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday:

Osamu Kobayashi (Shin Dokonjo Gaeru, Manga Nihon Mukashi Banashi, Magical Angel Creamy Mami)

Scriptwriter

Akiyoshi Sakai (Casshan, Cyborg 009, Kerokko Demetan)

Voice Actress

Kazuko Sugiyama (Gatchaman's Jun the Swan, Heidi - A Girl of the Alps' titular character, Urusei Yatsura's Ten)

Production Founder/Producer

Shigehito Takahashi (Moomin, Yama Nezumi Rocky Chuck, Heidi - A Girl of the Alps)

Director of Photography

Hirokata Takahashi (Aim For The Best! film, Ashita no Joe 2, Space Adventure Cobra)

The Tokyo Anime Award Festival will be held from March 8 to 11.

Last year's winners included Tsutomu Shibayama, Gisaburō Sugii, Kumiko Ohsugi, Shôhei Kawamoto, and more.
