Koisuru Asteroid TV Anime Reveals Main Staff, January 2020 Premiere

Series adapts manga about girl who wants to discover new asteroids

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Quro's Koisuru Asteroid (Asteroid in Love) manga revealed a teaser visual, the main staff, and the January 2020 premiere for the series on Friday.

Daisuke Hiramaki (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo. Yuka Yamada (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid) is handling series scripts. Jun Yamazaki (Three Leaves, Three Colors, Uzamaid!) is designing the characters.

The manga centers on Mira, who a girl who dream of joining the astronomy club once she got into high school, after meeting a man and promising to discover new asteroids when she was younger. But the high school she got into had abolished its astronomy club the year before she enrolled, and it has now been combined with the earth sciences club.

Quro launched the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine in January 2017. Houbunsha published the manga's second compiled book volume on May 27.
