Kazuyuki Okitsu Joins Cast of My Hero Academia Anime as Fat Gum

Anime's 4th season premieres on October 12

This year's combined 36th and 37th issues of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that Kazuyuki Okitsu is joining the fourth season of the My Hero Academia anime as the pro hero Fat Gum.

Other new cast members include Shinichirō Miki as Sir Nighteye and Rie Murakawa as Bubble Girl.

The anime will premiere on October 12, and will air on YTV and NTV on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. Funimation will stream the season as it airs in Japan.

The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, and then the 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017. The 25-episode third season premiered in April 2018, and Funimation also streamed the English dub of the third season. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan.

The My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film opened in Japan last August. The franchise is receiving a second film titled Boku no Hero Academia the Movie -Heroes: Rising- that will open on December 20.
