Aniplus Asia Airs Tower of God, Kakushigoto, Princess Connect Anime

Aniplus Asia announced on Saturday that it will air simulcasts for the Tower of God, Kakushigoto, Princess Connect! Re:Dive, and The House Spirit Tatami-chan anime.

The television anime adaptation of Korean creator SIU's Tower of God manhwa will premiere in Japan on April 1, and will begin airing on Aniplus Asia on April 2 at 1:00 a.m. GMT +8. Aniplus Asia describes the anime:

Reach the top, and everything will be yours.

At the top of the tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours.

You can become a god.

This is the story of the beginning and the end of Rachel, the girl who climbed the tower so she could see the stars, and Bam, the boy who needed nothing but her.

Takashi Sano (Sengoku Basara: End of Judgement, Transformers: Energon) is directing the anime at Telecom Animation Film (Lupin the Third: Part 5, We Rent Tsukumogami, Orange). Hirokazu Hanai (Dances with the Dragons, Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas) is the assistant director. Erika Yoshida (Trickster, Namu Amida Butsu! -Rendai Utena-) is in charge of series composition. Masashi Kudo (Bleach, Hayate the Combat Butler!) and Miho Tanino are designing the characters. Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss, The Rising of the Shield Hero) is composing the music.

Sola Entertainment is providing production management for the series. Rialto Entertainment, Aniplex's wholly-owned subsidiary, is producing the anime.

The television anime adaptation of Kōji Kumeta's Kakushigoto manga will premiere in Japan on April 2, and Aniplus Asia will begin airing the show on April 2 at 24:00 GMT +8 (effectively 12:00 a.m. on April 3). Aniplus Asia describes the anime:

Kakushi Goto, an artist who draws somewhat vulgar manga. Hime, his only daughter who is currently in the fourth year of elementary school. To Kakushi, his precious daughter means the world to him. But, the overly-doting father is hiding something from Hime.

That is, his job as a manga artist.

Will his daughter come to hate him if she finds out about the "secret"?!

A slightly touching family drama filled with love and laughter begins.

Yūta Murano (Brave Beats, Dream Festival!, Seven Days War) is directing the anime at Ajia-do. Takashi Aoshima (Minami-ke, Aho-Girl!, Endro~!) is writing and supervising the series' scripts. Shuuhei Yamamoto (Battle Girl High School, Between the Sky and Sea) is designing the characters. Yukari Hashimoto (March comes in like a lion, Sarazanmai) is composing the music.

flumpool are performing the opening theme song "Chiisana Hibi" (Small Days), and late musician Eiichi Ohtaki's "Kimi wa Tennen Shoku" (You Are Natural Color) is the ending theme song.

The television anime of Cygames' Princess Connect! Re:Dive smartphone game will premiere in Japan on April 7, and Aniplus Asia will begin airing the anime on April 7 at 1:00 a.m. GMT +8. Aniplus Asia describes the anime:

In the beautiful land of Astraea where a gentle breeze blows, a young man named Yuuki awakens with no memory of his past.

There he encounters a guide who has sworn to care for him—Kokkoro, a lovely swordswoman who's always feeling peckish—Pecorine, and a cat-eared sorceress with a prickly attitude—Karyl.

Takaomi Kanasaki (KonoSuba, Is This a Zombie?) is directing and handling series composition at CygamesPictures (Mysteria Friends, Blade Runner: Black Out 2022). Kana Harufuji (Saga of Tanya the Evil) is the assistant director. Satomi Kurita (Hina Logic - from Luck & Logic, Real Girl), Lie Jun Yang (animation director for A Certain Magical Index III), and Yasuyuki Noda (Step Up Love Story, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes: Arsene Karei Naru Yokubō) are designing the characters.

Rensuke Oshikiri's mini anime project The House Spirit Tatami-chan (Zashiki-Warashi no Tatami-chan) will debut streaming in Japan on April 10, and Aniplus Asia will begin airing the anime on April 10 at 7:00 p.m. Aniplus Asia describes the anime:

Amidst new Reiwa Era, the peculiar but cute new heroine "Tatami-chan" is busy taking on the spirits, demons, and even humans that reside in the metropolitan city of Tokyo...!

The horror gag comedy that spells "Rensuke Oshikiri" begins now!

Oshikiri launched a crowdfunding campaign for the project on October 25, and it ran until December 25. The campaign is considered funded, despite raising 2,667,000 yen (about US$24,360) toward its 5 million yen (about US$46,000) goal. The project is Oshikiri's directorial debut in anime, and he is also drawing the art, writing the scripts, and drafting the original character designs.

Shun Tokuda (OneRoom, The Idolm@ster SideM Wake Atte Mini!) is editing and compositing the animation, and Zero-G (The Idolm@ster SideM Wake Atte Mini!, Grand Blue, Tsugumomo) is producing the animation. ORESAMA performs the project's theme song "CATCH YOUR SWEET MIND."
