Anime Limited Releasing Complete Samurai Flamenco Blu-ray and 4K UHD Weathering With You in September

posted on by Andrew Osmond
4K UHD edition of Weathering With You scheduled for September 6, complete Samurai Flamenco limited Blu-ray on September 27

Anime Limited is listing the following titles on its AllTheAnime website, both available for pre-order.

September 6 - A 4K UHD edition of Makoto Shinkai's 2019 film Weathering With You, also including a standard Blu-ray. Anime Limited describes the series:

"High school freshman Hodaka Morishima leaves his home on an isolated island and moves to Tokyo, but he quickly finds himself in financial trouble. Living his days in isolation, he eventually lands a job as a writer for a shady occult magazine.

Then one day in an alley, Hodaka meets a young girl named Hina Amano, bright and strong-willed, who possesses a strange and wonderful ability: the power to stop the rain and clear the sky."

September 27 - A Limited Edition Blu-ray of the complete Samurai Flamenco 22-part series, broadcast on 2013. Anime Limited describes the series:

"Masayoshi Hazama: A man who has become a superhero “by himself” with no superhuman powers or any sort of high-tech conversions.

"Hidenori Goto: A cop who found out the true identity of “the superhero” by a strange twist of fate and thus constantly gets in trouble thanks to Hazama, the superhero.

"This is the story of the birth of a true hero featuring these two young men with a touch of comedy and serious drama, while they come face to face with hardships as they search for the true meaning of becoming a hero of justice in this world."

Takahiro Ōmori (Natsume's Book of Friends, Baccano!, Princess Jellyfish) directed the series, while Chinatsu Kurahana (Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%, Aquarion Evol original character designs) designed the characters. Hideyuki Kurata (Oreimo, Now and Then, Here and There, The World God Only Knows) handled the series composition, and Yoshimitsu Yamashita (Mushibugyō, Blade of the Immortal, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~) adapted Kurahana's character designs for animation. Manglobe (Samurai Champloo, Karneval, Deadman Wonderland) produced the series.
