STUDY's Neko Konogoro character is inspiring a new anime titled "Neko Konogoro ~Tenka Tōitsu Hen" (Neko Konogoro: Country Unification Arc) on Kansai TV Broadcasting, starting on July 3 from 3:15-3:16 a.m. JST (effectively, July 4).

The anime stars:
- Riko Kohara as Nekotarō
- Rin Aira as Gorosuke
- Shugo Nakamura as Nekomatabei
- Masumi Asano providing sound effects
Aira as Gorosuke is performing the theme song "Moeyase! Nekotama."
The anime follows Nekotarō, a cat from Kagoshima who aims to unify the country. The story is based on STUDY's Neko Konogoro ~Tenka Tōitsu Hen manga, published on Amazon Kindle Indies.
STUDY's popular character first inspired the Neko Konogoro television anime in 2016. Kachidoki Studio produced another Neko Konogoro anime for Production I.G's Tate Anime (Vertical Anime) app in March 2018, starring Marin Kunari. In May, the studio will premiere the Aisukuritarō anime about an ice cream character on the app. The anime premiered on television within Asahi Broadcasting's Enkame: That's Enka Tainment program in October 2017, and is being reproduced for the app.
The character has merchandise and LINE stamps.
